A Teacher’s Perspective II

20 Jul 2017

We thought we’d share this lovely feedback from a teacher in Lambeth:

“Just wanted to thank you so much for the work you did with our girls this year. The enthusiasm they have for oracy and sharing their voices has been infectious and this has become evident in the last few weeks of term, when Year 10 have been performing their individual presentations. We have used the Jack Petchey videos as a resource and they have worked wonders for improving the standard of these.

I have had girls who rarely speak at all in class do presentations about topics as varied as their names and heritage to their interest in automata , to success and disability. A particular success story was Shen-Teh, who finally plucked up the courage to do the speech she was supposed to do on the day of our workshop – she got a distinction!”
